Even with its high alpha acid content, Azacca® also works well as a dual purpose hop, giving off intense aromas and flavours of tropical and citrus fruits.
- For maximum freshness and optimum shelf life, all our hops are packed in special vacuum packages and kept in a cold-storage chamber at 5°C.
Description - Hop pellets Azacca - 1 kg
Azacca® is one of a new brood of dwarf bittering hops, bred by the American Dwarf Hop Association and named after the Haitian god of agriculture. Descended directly from the Japanese Toyomidori, its greater parentage also includes Summit™ and Northern Brewer.
Even with its high alpha acid content, Azacca® also works well as a dual purpose hop, giving off intense aromas and flavours of tropical and citrus fruits, including mango, pineapple, orange and tangerine, and even notes of pine. Well-suited for fruit-forward IPAs, ales and lagers.
The exact alpha acid content is indicated on every package.
